Job Summary:

As an Independent Travel Agent with our host agency, you will be responsible for planning and booking all aspects of travel for your clients. This includes, but is not limited to:
? Consulting with clients: Understanding their travel needs, preferences, and budget to create personalized itineraries
? Researching and recommending travel options: Flights, accommodations, transportation, tours, activities, cruises, and travel insurance
? Booking reservations: Utilizing our booking platform and supplier relationships to secure travel arrangements
? Providing exceptional customer service: Addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable travel experience
? Building and maintaining client relationships: Networking and marketing your services to attract new clients and retain existing ones
? Staying up-to-date on travel trends and destinations: Participating in training opportunities and industry events
? Managing your own business: Tracking expenses, managing client payments, and achieving sales goals

Responsibilities: ? Develop and present travel quotes and itineraries ? Process payments and issue travel documents ? Handle client communication before, during, and after travel ? Stay current with travel advisories, visa requirements, and health regulations ? Participate in ongoing training and professional development ? Adhere to all industry regulations and ethical practices

Qualifications: ? Passion for travel and helping others create memorable experiences ? Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills ? Strong organizational skills and attention to detail ? Ability to work independently and manage your own time ? Basic computer skills and familiarity with online travel resources ? Sales and marketing skills are a plus ? Prior travel industry experience is preferred, but not required. Comprehensive training is provided
