The Accounting Assistant in Trenton, Maine is responsible for assisting with the processing of payments, and providing excellent customer service. You?ll have a solid understanding of how to maintain and file information, and perform bookkeeping and accounts payable and receivable functions. This is a full time, 1st position that is temp to hire.

Accounting Assistant Qualifications: ? High School Graduate or equivalent ? Solid knowledge of Excel ? Excellent phone and communication skills ? Proficient in Microsoft Office ? Works well under pressure ? Ability to work well independently and as part of a team ? Ability to maintain accurate financial records ? AR and AP, as well as bookkeeping abilities ? Financial software savvy

Required Skills:
? Previous experience in an office setting
? Familiarity with accounting principles and procedures

Accounting Assistant Details:
? Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-430pm
? Pay Rate: $20/hr
? Start Date: ASAP
