Role Overview: As a UPS Technician, you will be a key member of the field service team, responsible for ensuring that critical power systems operate safely and efficiently. This role involves hands-on work with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of UPS equipment, directly supporting customer uptime and system reliability. Key Responsibilities: • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of UPS systems, batteries, and associated critical power infrastructure. • Conduct preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and emergency repairs in compliance with OEM standards. • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, providing timely and effective solutions. • Assist with commissioning, startup, and system upgrades on-site. • Maintain detailed service documentation and communicate technical findings to management and customers. • Ensure all work is performed safely and adheres to company and industry safety standards. Qualifications / Requirements: • 3–5 years of experience working with UPS systems; OEM experience preferred. • Strong electrical, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills. • Ability to work independently and efficiently in the field. • Comfortable traveling between San Francisco and Sacramento as required. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
