Senior SEO Specialist (Remote)

This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: Indiana (USA) We are seeking an experienced Senior SEO Specialist to join our remote team. As a Senior SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective SEO strategies to improve our client's website's organic search rankings and drive organic traffic. This role requires a deep understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, and link building. Working closely with our content team, you will provide guidance and recommendations for optimizing website content, meta-tags, and other on-page elements. You will also conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and monitor keyword rankings and organic traffic performance. This is a remote position and requires strong communication skills, self-management abilities, and proficiency in remote collaboration tools. Key Responsibilities 1. SEO Strategy & Account Management • Develop and own end-to-end SEO strategies for multiple client accounts. • Conduct client audits, define KPIs, and deliver measurable growth in visibility and conversions. • Stay ahead of Google updates, Search Generative Experience (SGE), and AI-driven ranking factors. • Translate technical and analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for clients. • Research & prepare SEO plans, project results, and share recommendations with the client 2. Keyword, Intent & Market Research • Conduct deep keyword, entity, and topical research using advanced and AI-powered tools. • Identify content gaps, semantic clusters, and voice/zero-click opportunities. • Map keywords to user intent and customer journey stages to guide content creation. • Benchmark competitors’ organic and SERP strategies to uncover growth areas. 3. On-Page & Content Optimization • Prepare content briefs & collaborate with the writer to ensure SEO-first content ideation. • Use AI and NLP tools (e.g., SurferSEO, Frase, Jasper, ChatGPT) to enhance relevance and readability. • Ensure pages meet EEAT (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) standards. • Optimize metadata, headings, schema, and internal linking structures. • Audit and enhance content for featured snippets, People Also Ask, and visual search results. 4. Technical SEO • Perform advanced technical SEO audits using Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, or equivalent tools. • Address site speed, crawlability, canonicalization, and indexation issues. • Work closely with developers to ensure SEO best practices are embedded in new builds. • Implement structured data, Core Web Vitals improvements, and accessibility optimizations. • Manage multi-domain and multi-language setups where applicable. 5. Off-Page, Digital PR & Authority Building • Develop and execute ethical, results-driven link acquisition strategies. • Build relationships with publishers, bloggers, and industry platforms for collaboration. • Manage AI-assisted outreach personalization to scale link building efficiently. • Track backlinks, disavow toxic ones, and maintain a healthy link profile. • Support local SEO and reputation management when needed. 6. Analytics, Reporting & Automation • Measure and report on SEO KPIs using GA4, GSC, Looker Studio, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and other tools. • Create insightful dashboards and reports tailored to each client’s business goals. • Use AI and automation to streamline auditing, reporting, and data collection processes. • Perform competitive and performance analysis to inform next-step recommendations. Requirements Tools & Platforms of Excellence Core Tools: Google Search Console, GA4, Looker Studio, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Tag Manager AI & Automation Tools: ChatGPT, SurferSEO, Jasper, Frase, ContentKing, Sitebulb Bonus Skills: Familiarity with APIs, Python (for SEO automation), and CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Webflow) Requirements • 4+ years of SEO experience, preferably within a digital agency environment. • In-depth knowledge of SEO techniques, including keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, and link building. • Familiarity with SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Looker Studio and GSC. • Experience with website analytics tools, such as Google Analytics • Strong command of AI-driven SEO tools and trends • Strong analytical skills and ability to generate insights from data. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently and remotely. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. • Proven track record of improving organic search rankings and driving organic traffic. • Experience with content management systems(wordpress/Drupal) and HTML/CSS. • Ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams. • Certifications in SEO or related fields are a plus.
