You’ll have the opportunity to grow your career at the intersection of AI, real estate, and investment analytics while contributing to real-world projects shaping the future of cities.About the RoleUnlockLand is seeking a Real Estate Research Analyst (AI & Market Intelligence) to join our growing Advisory and Analytics team.This role is ideal for a data-driven professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about applying technology to real estate strategy.As a Research Analyst, you’ll play a central role in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting real estate market data that powers our AI-driven feasibility and investment models. Your insights will help clients and internal teams make smarter, faster, and more confident decisions about land use, zoning, and investment potential.This is a remote or hybrid role based in Canada or the U.S., with optional coworking access in Vancouver or Toronto.What You’ll Do• Gather and maintain datasets related to zoning, land use, property transactions, and development permits.• Conduct market analysis across residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors using UnlockLand’s internal AI tools.• Support the creation of automated feasibility and valuation reports, ensuring data quality and accuracy across projects.• Assist in the preparation of market briefs, investor decks, and regional trend reports.• Collaborate with the product team to improve AI data models and enhance user experience with actionable market intelligence.• Monitor policy changes, infrastructure investments, and planning initiatives that may impact development feasibility.• Maintain and expand UnlockLand’s internal property database by collecting verified comparables and zoning updates.• Contribute to strategic projects, such as national market mapping, buildability forecasting, and site yield optimization.What You’ll Need• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Economics, Urban Planning, Geography, Finance, or related discipline.• 7+ years of experience in market research, real estate analytics, or consulting.• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace; experience with GIS tools (ArcGIS, QGIS) or data visualization (Tableau, Power BI) is an asset.• Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills with a keen eye for accuracy and detail.• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities — able to turn complex data into clear insights.• Self-motivated and curious, with a desire to learn how AI and data science are transforming real estate.• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.Why UnlockLand?• Be at the forefront of PropTech innovation — work with AI systems redefining feasibility analysis and urban development.• Collaborative, impact-driven culture — where your ideas directly influence product and client outcomes.• Growth and learning — access mentorship from both real estate and AI experts, with continuous opportunities to upskill.• Equity participation and performance bonuses — rewarding your contributions to long-term success.• Flexible work structure — remote-first with optional in-person collaboration hubs.At UnlockLand, diversity, inclusion, and curiosity are our competitive edge.
