MRI Technologist (Full-Time, 1st Shift – Flexible Hours)

Overview: Position: MRI Technologist Full-Time Location: Florence, SC Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM (flexible hours available) Responsibilities: • Perform MRI scans efficiently and accurately, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety. • Collect and assess patient data to determine appropriate scanning protocols. • Screen patients for contraindications and prepare them for procedures, including positioning and use of immobilization devices. • Administer contrast agents per regulatory guidelines and monitor patient status throughout the procedure. • Review images for diagnostic quality and determine if additional scans are needed. • Document patient and procedure data accurately and timely; archive images per protocol. • Maintain workflow efficiency and ensure availability and functionality of equipment and supplies. • Deliver exceptional patient care by providing clear instructions, maintaining safety standards, and demonstrating clinical expertise. • Comply with all regulatory and safety guidelines, including OSHA and MedQuest policies. • Participate in continuing education and cross-training opportunities. • Support quality assurance initiatives and maintain confidentiality of patient records. Qualifications: Education: • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program • ARRT registered with advanced registry in MRI • Must complete required CEU’s in a timely manner to ensure Certification remains active • Active state licensure, where applicable • CPR Certification is required Prior Experience: • 0+ years of experience as a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist, required • 2+ years of experience as an MRI Technologist, preferred Special Qualifications: • IV skills required • Knowledge of MRI procedures and standards • Demonstrate adequate knowledge of anatomy • Skill in operation of MRI equipment • Customer service background and focus Company Message: About MedQuest Imaging Founded in 1996, MedQuest is one of the most experienced outpatient imaging providers in the United States.
