Meta Ads Ad Operations Specialist (Compliance & Infrastructure for Regulated Verticals)

About the Role We are seeking a Meta Ads Ad Operations Specialist to maintain the integrity and compliance of our Meta advertising ecosystem in a regulated environment. Our organization markets medications online and is legally certified to do so, requiring strong operational discipline and a clear understanding of Meta’s trust, identity, and risk systems. This role focuses on platform infrastructure, compliance workflows, identity hygiene, and asset protection—not media buying. You will ensure our Business Manager, Pages, ad accounts, and access environments are stable, consistent, and protected from issues that trigger automated restrictions. Success requires understanding how access patterns, user history, and ecosystem setup affect Meta’s internal trust signals. You will help rebuild assets when needed, but more importantly, you will create processes that prevent contamination or cascading quality issues. Experience in high-sensitivity or regulated verticals is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Meta Ecosystem Architecture • Build and maintain a clean, compliant Meta Business Manager environment appropriate for regulated online medication advertising. • Structure and manage Pages, ad accounts, pixels, domains, and partner integrations to meet platform standards. • Maintain high levels of platform trust through consistent operational and access hygiene. Policy, Compliance & Quality Governance • Interpret Meta’s advertising policies related to medical, pharmaceutical, and regulated digital services. • Review landing pages, funnels, disclaimers, messaging, and creative to ensure compliance alignment. • Monitor Page Quality, Account Quality, domain reputation, and related trust indicators. Page & Asset Recovery • Diagnose causes of Page, ad account, or BM restrictions and execute remediation plans. • Restructure assets that have encountered compliance or quality issues to restore functionality and prevent recurrence. • Manage appeals, verifications, documentation submissions, and communications with Meta support channels. Access Integrity (Devices, Environments, Users) • Maintain consistent, secure operational environments for Meta logins and asset access. • Implement best practices for user permissions, device access routines, and identity consistency. • Prevent cross-contamination between restricted and clean assets through strict separation protocols. Operational Coordination • Collaborate with internal teams, external agencies, and (where relevant) Meta partner environments to maintain stable ad operations while internal assets are rebuilt. • Support media buyers by ensuring all infrastructure is fully compliant and ready for campaign execution. Qualifications • 2–5 years of experience in Paid Social Ad Operations, Meta Business Manager administration, or Meta compliance workflows. • Strong understanding of Meta advertising policies, especially across regulated or restricted advertising categories. • Proven experience recovering Pages or ad accounts from restrictions, quality issues, or policy violations. • Technical proficiency with Business Manager asset setup, pixel/event configuration, permissions, and platform trust signals. • Highly detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable working within compliance-heavy environments. Preferred Experience • Experience supporting advertising for regulated digital services, online pharmacies, telehealth, or similar verticals. • Familiarity with partner agency or whitelisted Meta ad account environments. • Ability to manage multiple high-sensitivity assets concurrently.
