? This is a remote position.
? We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper with a strong background in medical billing to join our team.
? Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
? Process medical claims and ensure accurate medical billing and coding.
? Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions.
? Generate financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
? Manage payroll processing and tax filings.
? Ensure compliance with healthcare billing regulations and insurance requirements.
? Assist with budgeting and financial planning.
? Communicate with insurance companies, patients, and other stakeholders regarding billing inquiries.
? Perform general bookkeeping duties, including invoicing and payment processing.

Requirements: ? Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in a healthcare or medical setting. ? Strong knowledge of medical billing procedures, insurance claims, and coding (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS). ? Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and medical billing software. ? Understanding of HIPAA compliance and healthcare financial regulations. ? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. ? High attention to detail and accuracy. ? Excellent communication and organizational skills. ? Associate?s or Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. ? Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper, Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist) are a plus.
