Customer Service Representative/Social Worker

Position: Customer Service Representative/Social Worker ? full time, 6-month contract

Location: Pasadena, CA 91107
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5:00pm
Pay rate: $25-27p/h

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Working with high-needs In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) recipients, often in emergency situations or needing help understanding how to navigate their county and state public assistance, such as IHSS and Medi-Cal.
• Handle inbound calls and correspondence
• Resolve all aspects of customer inquiries, provide accurate and timely responses
• Handle inbound calls and correspondence
• Enter accurate information into the database
• Collaborate with various staff members to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain records and ensure proper documentation.
• Light administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and envelope packing
• Handle email and phone inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.- Recent graduate with Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field, such as Psychology, Sociology, or Counseling
• 1-3 years' experience in social work or homecare administration
• Previous Call Center or Customer Service experience
• Microsoft Office proficient
• 40 wpm
• Background screen after acceptance of job offer
