Insurance Agent (Property & Casualty; Accident & Health) — Remote (9–5 ET)
About the role As an Insurance Agent serving the event rental industry, you would reach out to applicants to help them get their application completed. You’ll manage inbound, digitally sourced applications from a trusted lead partner, place and service policies with multiple carrier partners, and help us scale quickly. What you’ll do • Sell and service P&C and A&H policies for clients. • Work inbound leads: follow up on digital applications from a vetted source; no cold calling. • Place business with our two current carrier partners; manage end-to-end policy administration. • Organize our book: maintain accurate records, tasks, and pipeline visibility. • Contribute to growth: help refine processes as we scale; collaborate as we hire 2–4 additional agents over the next year. • (Optional growth path) One hire will also step into agency and workforce management as we expand. • Possibly attend trade-shows a few times a year What you bring • Active licenses: Property & Casualty and Accident & Health. • 5+ years’ experience in the insurance industry. • Strong management, organizational, and business skills; comfortable owning outcomes. • Professional communication, follow-through, and client service mindset. Work setup • Remote; standard hours 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (ET). • Reliable broadband, low-latency internet suitable for video. • Dedicated, quiet workspace. Compensation & benefits • w2, full time, full remote. • Hourly base + commission; expected total earnings $60,000–$80,000/year depending on performance. • Generous parental leave. • Flextime. • Paid time off: 2 weeks + office closed the week between Christmas and New Year’s. • Work from home and paid holidays. • As agency grows we plan to add 401k and HRA benefits but they will not be there immediately.
