HEDIS Medical Records Reviewer (Remote in Utah)

Job Title: HEDIS Medical Records Reviewer (Remote – Utah ) Pay Rate: $31.31 per hour Duration: January – May (Project-Based, Full-Time) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time Location: Fully Remote (occasional travel to provider offices may be required) Position Summary We’re seeking HEDIS Medical Records Reviewers to support the collection and review of medical records for HEDIS quality reporting. In this role, you’ll review and abstract clinical information from medical records to support compliance with HEDIS and CMS performance measures. Training will be provided before the start of the assignment. Candidates must be proficient in computer-based work, as 100% of the job activities are completed online. Key Responsibilities • Collect and review medical records to abstract required clinical information for HEDIS reporting. • Annotate records using Adobe PDF and accurately enter data into a collection tool. • Ensure complete and compliant documentation to meet regulatory and accreditation standards. • Work with provider offices to schedule or confirm appointments and follow up on record submissions. • Prioritize tasks while maintaining accuracy and productivity standards. • Identify trends and document areas for process improvement. • Maintain confidentiality and notify the employer if accepting employment elsewhere during the project. Requirements • Education: Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required. • Technical: • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). • Must connect the provided laptop directly to a home modem via ethernet cable (Wi-Fi not permitted). • Reliable transportation may be needed for occasional onsite provider visits. • Able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs of equipment. • Must commit to the entire project duration (January–May). • Must complete all compliance items prior to start and submit a professional photo per provided guidelines.
