About the Role: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT/ABA Therapist) As a Registered Behavior Technician with Key Autism Services, you'll play a vital role in implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and counseling programs for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the comfort of their own homes. Under the guidance and supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you'll work one-on-one with clients, helping them achieve their goals and reach their full potential. This is a remote-based opportunity with flexible scheduling to accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening shifts. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one (1:1) in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with ASD. Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions to inform treatment plans. Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support, and treatment plans as directed by a BCBA Supervisor. Collaborate with BCBA Supervisors to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy. Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors, maintaining professionalism in all interactions. Arrive on time and be prepared for therapy sessions, demonstrating a commitment to reliability and client-centered care. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or working towards your degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, or Sociology) preferred. 1-year experience working with children in a 1:1 setting. 1-year ABA/RBT Experience or equivalent experience as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Mental Health Technician, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor in a school or home setting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and clean driving record. Auto insurance to travel between clients. Preferred Qualifications: Experience using a Cognitive Behavior Intervention Plan with youth and families. Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification. Previous experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities. Skills and Competencies: Ability to lift up to 35lbs and perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills. Capacity to bend, kneel, squat, sit on floor level or in a chair, or stand for periods of time. Ability to respond quickly in short distances (100 feet) in response to the movements and behaviors of children. Willingness and ability to work in both indoor and outdoor settings. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
