About the Role As a customer support representative for arenaflex, you'll be working on a one-of-a-kind opportunity that allows you to create your own schedule and work from home. You'll be providing customer support via phone, chat, and/or video chat, focusing on software navigation and locating previous tax returns and amendments. Your empathetic approach to customer interactions, combined with your critical thinking and multi-tasking capabilities, will make you a valuable asset to our team. You'll be escalating issues when necessary and providing timely resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer support via phone, chat, and/or video chat, focusing on software navigation and locating previous tax returns and amendments Utilize critical thinking and multi-tasking capabilities to resolve customer issues in a timely and efficient manner Escalate issues when necessary and provide timely resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction Work independently in a home-based environment, maintaining a quiet, uninterrupted space and organized desk area Communicate with a friendly tone and professional demeanor, providing empathetic support to customers Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a sincere desire to assist customers, be tech-savvy, and have excellent communication skills. You should be able to multi-task and navigate multiple systems with ease. A friendly tone and professional demeanor are essential in providing exceptional customer support. While not required, experience in the tax software industry or previous customer support experience would be a definite plus. Required Skills: Sincere desire to assist customers Tech-savvy and avid computer user Ability to multi-task and navigate multiple systems Communicate with a friendly tone and professional demeanor Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the tax software industry Previous customer support experience Knowledge of tax software products and navigation Technology and Equipment Requirements To work as a customer support representative for arenaflex, you'll need to have the following technology and equipment: Personal computer (no tablet) Broadband internet connection, recommended at least 10 MBPS Wired internet connection (no wi-fi or mobile internet) Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system Valid antivirus software installed, running and up to date USB headset with microphone A webcam will be loaned to each contractor to be used for the duration of the contract Work Environment Requirements To ensure you can provide exceptional customer support, you'll need to have a quiet, uninterrupted space and an organized desk area. You should also maintain a professional appearance, especially if you're working on camera. Contractors on this program who meet or exceed key metrics earn on average the equivalent of $16-$19/hour during peak times and $15.60-$17.50/hour during non-peak times. You'll also have the flexibility to create your own schedule, working from the comfort of your own home and enjoying the freedom to choose your own hours.
