As a valued member of our team, you will be part of a diverse and dynamic organization that values innovation, teamwork, and customer satisfaction. **Job Summary** As an Experienced Customer Service Representative – General Call Center, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service, answering questions, handling complaints, and troubleshooting problems. You will work closely with our internal teams to ensure seamless communication and efficient resolution of customer inquiries. Your positive attitude, empathetic nature, and professional demeanor will make you an invaluable asset to our organization. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** * Assist all internal and external customers in a professional manner, providing timely and accurate responses to their inquiries. * Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times, even in challenging situations. * Receive requests from multiple sources (phone, fax, e-Commerce, in-person) and complete necessary processes for equipment services. * Coordinate home equipment service requests with Dispatch for prompt delivery. * Engage in active listening with customers, confirming or clarifying information and diffusing angry customers, as needed. * Provide customers with product and service information, ensuring they have a clear understanding of our offerings. * Maintain current knowledge on Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payor sources for equipment, ensuring accurate and compliant billing practices. * Verify medical necessity, insurance coverage, and physician orders for all insurance-assigned services. * Follow policy and work instructions to ensure the Billing Department has the correct paperwork to complete insurance. * Understand and strive to meet or exceed department metrics while providing excellent customer service. * Make sales or recommendations for products or services that may complement client needs, as applicable. * Perform other duties as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. **Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you will possess the following qualifications: * High school diploma or general education degree (GED). * 6 months of relevant customer service experience preferred. * Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. * Customer service orientation. * Attention to detail. * Good data entry skills. * Proficiency with computers, with strong typing skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. **Physical Demands** The physical demands of this role include: * Regularly sitting, talking, and hearing. * Frequent seating behind a computer with frequent typing. * Occasional standing and walking. * Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 lbs., 50 lbs. for retail. * Specific vision abilities required include close vision. **What We Offer** As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy: * A competitive salary and benefits package. * Opportunities for career growth and professional development. * A dynamic and supportive work environment. * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance. * A comprehensive training program to ensure your success. **How to Apply** If you are a motivated and customer-focused individual with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
