As a leading provider of furnished housing, we rent fully furnished apartments on a nightly to monthly basis, advertised on popular platforms like Airbnb, Vrbo, and Booking.com. With a growing presence in major cities, we operate over 100 units across the downtown area and have recently expanded to new locations. About the Role We are looking for a part-time Customer Service Manager to join our Hospitality team, working approximately 20 hours per week. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own space, using software like Slack to collaborate with our team in real-time. As a Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service to our guests, ensuring their safety and security, and resolving any issues that may arise during their stay. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to blithequark guests, responding to their inquiries, and addressing their concerns in a timely and friendly manner Conduct guest screening to ensure safety and security, complying with blithequark and property partner requirements Manage all guest reservations, including booking suggestions, alterations, and cancellations Utilize our digital communication systems to manage guest communications, including messages, emails, calls, and texts Troubleshoot maintenance and technology issues, lockouts, and other guest issues, negotiating solutions for guest satisfaction Coordinate operational needs with blithequark staff, scheduling and monitoring repairs, maintenance, and turnovers Oversee various other tasks, including listing marketing, social media management, and periodic public relations activities Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: A college diploma or equivalent, with 2+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a positive attitude and exceptional customer service presence Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in spreadsheets, word documents, and similar operational software, with highly efficient navigation of web browsers and apps A reliable smartphone, computer, and high-speed wifi connection, with the ability to respond to messages in 5 minutes or less Willingness to work at least 3 days a week, including holidays, with a flexible schedule to accommodate our evening and night shifts Ability to pass a background check, with 2-3 references from past or current supervisors Essential Skills and Competencies In addition to the requirements, we are looking for a candidate with: Strong multi-tasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Strong attention to detail, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing situations Career Growth and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
