Key Responsibilities As a Chat Moderator, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the integrity and positivity of our online community. Your primary responsibilities will include: Moderating the chat on our official Discord server, ensuring compliance with community guidelines and rules. Deleting messages that violate our community standards, providing a safe and respectful environment for users. Banning users who repeatedly disregard our rules, maintaining a positive and inclusive atmosphere. Muting users who have broken our rules, giving them the opportunity to reflect on their actions. Investigating reports made by users regarding potential rule violations, taking prompt and fair action when necessary. Collaborating with other moderators and team members to ensure consistency and fairness in moderation decisions. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To excel as a Chat Moderator at blithequark, you'll need: Essential Qualifications: Be at least 18 years old. Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). Strong understanding of community moderation principles and online safety best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with users from diverse backgrounds.
