Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Base pay range $50.00/hr - $50.00/hr Overview This role is designed for Dev Ops engineers who prioritize prevention over reaction. If you find satisfaction in dissecting fragmented legacy systems, architecting streamlined replacements, and eliminating manual work through automation, this position will align with your strengths. We require a Dev Ops and AWS infrastructure specialist who excels under pressure in environments where 99.9% uptime is the baseline expectation. Your work will span a portfolio of acquired products—each with unique characteristics—as you migrate them into a unified, scalable AWS environment and implement monitoring and automation that minimizes incident frequency. Unlike most companies that ask you to support a single technology stack, we need you to unify and refine multiple stacks without causing disruptions. Where others maintain database isolation, we pursue strategic consolidation to achieve cost efficiency and simplified management across our product portfolio. This position is not suited for someone comfortable maintaining the status quo; it requires someone who identifies inconsistency and fragmentation, then immediately begins architecting improvements. Your scope will encompass infrastructure migrations, AI-powered automation, performance optimization, database transitions, and cost management. This includes troubleshooting and resolving existing issues, orchestrating cloud migrations with minimal downtime, and deploying AI/ML‑driven workflows that eliminate repetitive tasks. You will hold genuine decision‑making authority over infrastructure—no delays waiting for approval from stakeholders unfamiliar with the technical reality. If you are a self‑directed problem‑solver who enjoys untangling intricate systems and ensuring flawless operation, this role will provide significant opportunity. If you require close supervision, struggle with managing multiple technology stacks simultaneously, or prefer greenfield projects to transforming disorder into structure, this position will not be a good fit. If you are prepared to assume ownership of a high‑impact infrastructure function with substantial latitude to build, refine, and automate at scale, submit your application now. What You Will Be Doing • Orchestrating and executing intricate infrastructure transformations, including transitions from legacy environments to AWS cloud platforms and lift‑and‑shift migration projects • Architecting and deploying monitoring strategies and creating automation for monitoring systems, software releases, and operational processes • Conducting system monitoring, backup operations, incident management, database migrations, database configuration, and cost reduction initiatives What You Won’t Be Doing • Spending time in Jira and prolonged status meetings – we prioritize individuals who deliver solutions rather than simply document issues • Supporting legacy systems without end – you will be authorized to implement substantive enhancements • Waiting for bureaucratic approval processes – you will possess the authority to apply immediate fixes during incidents • Operating within restrictive technical specializations – this position demands both comprehensive and specialized knowledge • Justifying budget requests for essential infrastructure work – we recognize the value of infrastructure investment Key Responsibilities • Ensure reliability and consistency of cloud infrastructure across our expanding product portfolio through deployment of comprehensive monitoring, automation, and AWS best practices. Basic Requirements • Extensive AWS infrastructure knowledge (this is our core platform – experience with other cloud providers alone is insufficient) • Proficiency scripting in Python and Bash for routine administrative tasks • Demonstrated experience managing and migrating production databases across multiple engines (including MySQL, Postgres,… Apply tot his job
