Overview Data Scientist Hybrid | Washington D.C. | 3 Days a Week Onsite Active TS/SCI Clearance Required Summary Our client is an employee and Service-Disabled, Veteran-owned Small Business focused on providing niche technical services. Additionally, our client designs, builds, operates, and secures scalable cloud and IT infrastructures to meet their customers' near-term needs and fulfill their long-term requirements. Responsibilities Our client is looking for a Data Scientist to join their team! The Data Scientist supports mission operations by providing analytic technical support, translating requirements, developing models, creating visualizations, communicating insights, and collaborating with cross-functional teams • Establish analysis and data visualization methodologies, models, and tools to derive intelligence outcomes. • Design and deliver infographics across media platforms. • Identify and process raw data, trends, and assessments to generate intelligence support packages. • Provide tailored communications to stakeholders and support analytic activities. • Brief customers on assessments and prepare briefings for decision makers. Requirements • 4-6+ years of experience in computer science, data science, or data analytics. • Experience with Python libraries for data cleaning, EDA, statistical analysis, and visualization. • Proficiency in Python programming. • Agile development experience with tools like Jira. Preferred Requirements • Familiarity with the Intelligence Community and the intel cycle. • Experience with the Department of Homeland Security. • Willingness to learn and adapt. Education/Certification Requirements • A Bachelor's degree in a technical field is preferred (or equivalent practical experience) Clearance Requirements • Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an active TS/SCI clearance is required.
