Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) - Full-Time or Fractional | Burnaby, BC or Remote (Canada-Based) Location: Preference for in-office (Burnaby, BC). Hybrid/local candidates considered. Remote applicants (Canada-based only) are welcome if exceptional. Type: Full-Time or Fractional (2-3 days/week) Salary: • Full-Time: $130,000-$180,000 CAD + up to $20,000 performance bonus • Fractional: $7,500-$9,500/month based on scope We're open to creative compensation structures based on experience and commitment. About the Role We're looking for an inspiring, creative leader to join us as our Chief Marketing Officer. You'll play a central role in bringing our brand story to life, shaping and scaling the strategy we've built with care, and ensuring it connects deeply with every audience we serve. This is your chance to elevate a purpose-driven brand that's helping business owners rediscover their passion, focus, and freedom. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll guide the vision, energize the team, and lead high-impact marketing efforts across coach enablement, brand development, both North American and international B2B campaigns, and franchise recruitment. You Might Be a Fit If You: • Have 10+ years in senior marketing roles (preferably B2B), ideally with an in-depth understanding of business services markets. • Passion for driving strategy and rolling up your sleeves to execute • Thrive in collaborative, fast-moving environments with direct leadership access • Know how to measure ROI and improve funnel performance using data • Have led or worked in a franchise, licensing, or distributed model business (a plus!) • Are a great communicator, love brainstorming in person, and lead with integrity Key Responsibilities • Shape and Protect the Brand: You'll be the steward of our brand story, bringing our vision to life across every touchpoint. You'll unify our identity across platforms, protect our IP, and guide our brand's evolution with clarity and confidence. • Enable Coach/Franchisee Marketing Success: Equip our coaches with everything they need to shine-from polished toolkits and templates to training and automation strategies. You'll turn great marketing into a repeatable playbook for success at every level. • Lead B2B Client Acquisition: Create demand-generation strategies that spark results. Through bold campaigns, partnerships, and clever content, you'll help position our brand and drive high-value B2B coaching leads across all markets. • Measure and Optimize Performance: You'll be the translator of data into impact. Use analytics to reveal what's working, what needs refining, and what we can celebrate. With KPIs as your guide, you'll keep the team energized and the leadership aligned. • Build and Manage the Marketing Function: Lead a passionate team of in-house talent and trusted vendors. Shape our marketing plan, introduce strong systems, and partner closely with the senior leadership team to keep the momentum going. • Drive Franchise Recruitment Marketing: Partner with our recruitment team to design and lead standout campaigns that attract the right franchisees. You'll help us grow smarter and faster, from local interest to international expansion.
