About Us Prachub is an early-stage startup on a mission to make tech interview preparation more transparent and accessible. We curate real interview questions, provide in-browser SQL & coding practice, and build community-driven resources across roles like SDE, Data, PM, and more. We are looking for a founding Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to join our core team. As one of the earliest data hires, you will play a critical role in shaping our analytics foundation, defining metrics, and enabling data-driven decisions across the company. Website: www.prachub.com What You’ll Do • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and BI tools that support product, growth, and operations teams. • Define core metrics and analytical frameworks to measure product performance, user behavior, and feature success. • Develop and optimize data models to ensure high-quality, reliable, and accessible data. • Collaborate with Data Engineering and Product teams to design efficient ETL/ELT pipelines. • Partner with stakeholders to identify data needs and deliver insights that inform product strategy and business decisions. • Implement BI best practices, including data governance, documentation standards, and reporting automation. • Help establish a scalable BI infrastructure as Prachub rapidly grows. What We’re Looking For • Degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field. • 1–5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Analytics Engineering. • Strong SQL skills and experience transforming large datasets. • Proficiency with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Metabase, Mode). • Solid understanding of data modeling, metrics design, and reporting automation. • Comfort working with Python or similar scripting languages. • Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • A startup mindset: ownership, speed, adaptability, and willingness to build from scratch.
